2025 Application Now Closed

Grants are open to employees of MaineHealth hospitals and clinics who have demonstrated a desire to improve and advance their skills through additional education.

1. Applications for scholarships will be made directly to the Newcomb Parker Foundation.
2. All courses must be approved by the supervisor at the institution where the applicant is employed.
3. Scholarship funds may be directed to the educational facility.
4. All applications will be approved by the Foundation Board of Directors for final approval or rejection.
5. A scholarship may be renewed at the discretion of the Foundation.
6. Amount of grants is at the discretion of the Foundation.
7. Additional amounts granted for needs shall be at the discretion of the Foundation. 

After an application is submitted, there will be a review process, in which the Foundation will conduct any due diligence which they deem necessary, including contacting supervisors. Grant decisions will be made no more than six weeks after the application is submitted and are final and irrevocable. All grant funding is distributed directly to the educational institution and must be used within six months after awarding.  The name of the recipient may be publicized in appropriate media.  Applications may be submitted below or mailed to:
